Jake Hill
founder, owner & general contractor
Born and raised in Bigfork, Jake honed his craft as a second-generation home builder working with his father. As is tradition in Montana, work in the family business started early, with Jake learning the ins and outs of the construction industry under his dad’s watchful eye. Jake worked alongside his dad right here in Big Sky Country for nearly two decades, building custom homes, doing remodels and more for families who planted roots here.
He also spent 10 years in Denver’s construction industry as a project manager for a local builder there prior to establishing Hill Builders in 2018. Over the years, he’s continued to garner experience and hone the construction craft, while further perfecting his skills as a custom home builder.
Rooted in northwest Montana with 30 years of hands-on construction experience, Hill Builders is well-suited to execute your vision and exceed your expectations, from modern home builds to mountainside cabins and valley retreats.
Top priorities for Jake and Hill Builders include relationship building, working with clients to bring their visions to life, quality construction, customer service and attention to detail. When Jake isn’t working, you’ll find him soaking up Montana’s outdoors and spending time with his friends and family, especially his wife and daughter.
